I’ve simplified the steps below to help complete your motorcycle helmet waver
Please note, you must have your motorcycle endorsement on your license by April 30 11:59pm, and be over the age of 21.
If you’ve already completed a motorcycle safety training course you can skip to step 2
STEP 1
click the following link to be taken to the msf Ecourse student enrollment page there is a $19.99 fee
After enrolling you’ll receive an email that includes the website to log in you’ll use your email address and a temporary password you received in the email for login credentials
once logged in you’ll be prompted to change your password
After logging in you’ll be taken to a page where you’ll scroll down to the MSF Basic Ecourse “click here” button to begin the class
Note: you can leave and come back to the course at anytime you do not loose your progress however you may have to log back in
After completion of the course you’ll get a completion certificate save that file as a pdf on your computer where you can easily find it and also print a copy for your records
STEP 2
You can take the printed copy into any dmv along with your license to have it updated in the system or submit it electronically below
To upload electronically for free click the following link
Enter your information as required and upload the pdf version of your Ecourse completion certificate or you msf safety course certificate and submit
Within a few days you’ll get an email confirming it was approved and applied to your license.

Remember only you are responsible for your decision to wear a helmet with or without your waver. This is meant for ease of access to anyone interested.
